How to upload a website online using cPanel
HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR WEBSITE USING CPANEL
1. Log in to your cPanel account. E.g www.yourdomainname.com/cpanel and input your username and password just as seen in the image below.
2. Under Files, click File Manager.
3. Navigate to Public Html folder which is responsible to publish your contents to the world
4. Click Upload, make your web files from your local computer in the Zip format.
5. Click on Select File
6. Upload the Zip File of your Website Page
7. After you upload the Zip file, Extract it using the option available there.
8. Open the new folder and select all your web pages inside it (including your index.html), then move to the public_html directory.
(Your html files has been moved to the public_html successfully)
9. Once uploaded, just type your website domain name in your favorite web browser to check. E.g
By now it will display your index.html which is your main homepage on your website. E.g
NOW YOUR WEBSITE IS ONLINE! YOU ARE GOOD TO GO….
